About Edward Carey

Edward Carey is a writer and illustrator. He has written and illustrated two adult novels, Observatory Mansions and Alva and Irva. The first volume of his Young Adult/crossover Iremonger Trilogy, about an unpleasant Victorian family who live in the centre of a vast rubbish heap, was published in the UK last September, and will be published by Harper Collins Canada in April and by the Overlook Press in the U.S. in October.
