About Borja Cabada

Borja Cabada is an award-winning author, illustrator, and producer from Spain. Fascinated with legends and mysteries from a very early age, he grew up loving haunted houses, campfire stories, and treasure hunts—there’s nothing like the lure of adventure!

His debut novel, El sonido de Atlantis, won the 2017 Logroño Book Award for Emerging Authors and was published by Anaya Group’s imprint Algaida to critical and public acclaim. More recently, he wrote Chasing Spanish Treasure, a pick-your-own-adventure story published in English by KiwiCo in 2023.

Currently he’s wrapping up his middle-grade debut, The Bregonauts, and developing his first picture book, I Want to Be A Star!, which he can’t wait to share with the world. More news on that soon!
