Pardon Our Dust

Dear Friends,

We are excited to announce that construction has begun on our roof, and will soon begin on our facade. This work has been made possible, in part, by a Community Development Grant (Small) from the City of Chicago. If all goes well, work will be completed in mid-November. Because of this, ABH will be closed until early December. We will send an email out to everyone once work has been completed. Until then, check out our upcoming workshop, Paper Masks with Erin Cramer, which has been rescheduled for December 6th and 7th, 2025.

We will be hosting an Open House at ABH on December 13th, from 2-5pm. We were busy planning one for October (our favorite month) when we got word that construction would begin on September 10th. So we are shifting our plans around to invite you all for a visit in December. The bonus will be that you will be able to see the completed facade (though sadly not the roof as well because, well, we can’t see if from the ground) at the Open House. Hurrah!
